About us

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze data for the annual budget and monthly forecasts, ensuring accurate reconciliation between accounting records and management reporting
• Prepare timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
• Conduct financial and variance analysis, monitore costs and profitability, providing insights to support strategic decision-making
• Analyze discrepancies between actual and budgeted outcomes, including revenues and expenses
• Analyze cost centers, balance sheet, credit transactions, and investment decisions
• Create management reports, dashboards, and presentations to highlight key financial indicators, performance metrics and trends
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information flow and alignment, while managing large datasets for effective decision-making

Requirements:

• University degree in Economics or a related field
• A Master’s degree in Accounting / Auditing / Finance / Economics / Business Administration is optional but will be considered an asset
• 4 + years of work experience in an organized corporate accounting department
• Excellent knowledge of Greek General Accounting Plan (E.G.L.S.), VAT, and tax legislation
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
